Unfortunately, the shortage and popularity of the cookie attracted resellers who entered the market and began to sell boxes of Raspberry Rallies on websites like eBay for incredibly marked-up prices. While the boxes typically cost $5, some resellers listed them for up to $180, much to the disappointment of the Girl Scouts. Speaking with Today, the Girl Scouts echoed its disappointment at reselling the cookies, stating, “If you’re buying these cookies at a huge markup, you could and should instead be using that money to support girls by buying other varieties or supporting the program in other ways.”
So, while the Girl Scouts have not said whether or not it will bring back the popular flavor in the future, it seems that, for now at least, we will have to add Raspberry Rallies to the list of Girl Scout cookies we wish would make a comeback.
